Day 1 : Arrive to Cusco – City Tour in the Afternoon
Reception at the Velasco Astete Airport in Cusco, and transfer to hotel where they are waiting with an aromatic coca tea to help you avoid altitude sickness.
Once in the hotel, take the rest of the morning free.
Between 1:45 and 2:00 pm beginning on guided city tour, which will have the opportunity to visit 6 places, the first "Qoricancha (near Golden), now the Convent of Santo Domingo, a place that houses Inside one of the most important religious centers of the Inca period. Then the Cathedral, a religious site which has paintings of the Cusco School being in number about 300, among other expressions of art.
Then head to the outskirts of the city to visit 4 major places that have remained intact over the years and have been used by the Incas for different activities; Sacsayhuaman (head of the puma) majestic place, with stonework impressive, being heavier than 120 tons, carried by Inka workers from remote sites, where they performed the famous Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun, Qenqo (maze), and finally Pucapucara Tambomachay, a place devoted to the worship of water.
End of tour and return to hotel

Day 2 : Sacred Valley of the Inkas Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Between 8:45 and 9:00 am. we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Visiting, first of all, the colorful Indian market in Pisac and then continue our journey to the Pisac Archaeological Site.
Then continue to the
fortress of Ollantaytambo, Inca city that had a religious, political and agricultural.
Finally, we return to Cusco via Chinchero, a town dedicated to the cultivation of potatoes and enjoy a wonderful view of the Cordillera de los Andes.
End of tour
Return to the City of Cusco.

Day 3 : Machupicchu by Train
Breakfast at the hotel, then pick up to go to the train station Poroy or Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town).
On arrival you have to walk to the bus station (5 minutes), the bus will take you to the top of the mountain on a journey that will last 25 minutes, then take the guided tour of the historic sanctuary.
Once the tour finishes, you will have time for lunch (not included) and explore the area on your own.
End of tour
Return to the City of Cusco by train.

Day 4 : Moray Archaeological Site & Maras Salt Mine
Guided visit to MORAY, archaeological unique site .
It is gigantic natural depressions or holes in the ground surface were used to construct in outline agricultural terraces or platforms with their irrigation canals.
What catches the eye is the average annual temperature difference between top and bottom of the depressions, which reaches up to 15 ° C in major depression about 30 meters deep.
MORAY, due to climatic conditions and other characteristics, was an important center of domestication, acclimatization and hybridization of wild plant species that were modified or adapted for human consumption.
Then we drive to the salt mines located 7 miles from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras. To the northwest of the town of Maras are the famous salt mines that are constituted by about 3000 small pools with an average area of about 5 m², built on the side of the slope of the mountain "Qaqawiñay " that during the dry season are filled with "water " that emanates from a natural manante located on the top of the wells so that when water evaporates, the salt content in it gradually solidifies.
This process will continue for about a month until a considerable volume of solid salt, about 10 cms. height from the floor, beaten, and then granulated, and salt is then bagged in plastic bags and shipped to markets in the region.
