Day 1 : Puerto Maldonado
Reception at the airport of Puerto Maldonado (Pedro Aldamiz) and transfer to WASAI Maldonado Eco Lodge, where you will be greeted with a delicious tropical cocktail or juice.
Shipping and transportation for about 4 hours up the Tambopata River, to the WASAI Tambopata Lodge & Research Center (Box lunch en route). During the journey we will observe the local farms and birds of various species.
Opportunity to see the way families Capybaras, the world's largest rodent (60 kg).
As we move away from population centers near Puerto Maldonado jungle will be showing more rich in wildlife.
Reception and accommodation at the Lodge.
After a short break, take a night walk into the forest to observe and listen to insects, bats, frogs and an occasional encounter with nocturnal mammals.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
The diverse sounds of the jungle will accompany our first night in the Amazon.

Day 2 : Tambopata River. Bahuaja Sonene
Before dawn we will cross the river Tambopata to see hundreds of parakeets andparrots in the Gato river bank, eating mineral salts in a clay wall.
On the way is possible to find groups of monkeys and other animals, you can also see interesting plants and insects
After breakfast you can relax in the beautiful surroundings of the lodge, fishing or swimming in the river or on the beautiful waterfalls of the River Cat. After lunch, board the boat toward the Sonene Bahuaja.
The trip runs beautiful uninhabited places, without human presence, exclusively forconservation and ecotourism provide an excellent opportunity to see birds and animals such as capybaras, jaguars, turtles, alligators etc.
Arrive at a place called Lick Chunchos nightfall, where we will camp on the banks ofriver.
Can observe the sunset and a refreshing swim in the river or you may catchsomething of the variety of aquatic fauna.
Night attempt to see nocturnal mammals andamphibians also visit the clay lick to eatclay or hunt prey.

Day 3 : Clay Lick. Ethno Botany Hike
We awaken to the sound of howler monkeys in the morning, then hundreds ofparakeets flying in the morning red sky.
Observe different species of macaws and many species of parrots and parakeetscongregate to eat mineral salts in the clay walls of the riverbanks. It is a natural spectacle of sound and color that lasts only a few hours early in the morning.
We will have a very simple breakfast on the beach followed by a short walk through the woodslooking for birds and animals.
With the completion of the travel back downstream to the Tambopata River Lodge.
After a hearty breakfast we will hike Ethno botany, learning about medicinal plants in the area. In the afternoon you can walk, lie in a hammock, go fishing, swimming,adventure activities such as flying foxes, kayaking, tree climbing, etc..
After dining take a boat ride to see alligators in the neighborhood near the Lodge.

Day 4 : Puerto Maldonado. Sandoval Lake
Will have breakfast and then begin the return trip up the Tambopata River, down stream to Puerto Maldonado.
Arrive at Maldonado WASAI Ecolodge for lunch.
In the afternoon sail along the Madre de Dios River for 30 minutes and then walk through the forest to the tranquil and beautiful Lake Sandoval.
On the lake your guide will paddle in a small wooden canoe looking for giant otters,birds such as the Hoatzin, and Aningha.
The decline in the lake is a sight to behold.
Back nightfall as you walk through the woods looking for some of the nocturnal creatures of the forest and then we will embark on e boat awaits us in the Madre de Dios River to bring you to the Ecolodge where we have a farewell dinner.

Day 5 : Transfer to Airport
According to schedule your flight to Lima or Cusco, meet you at the hotel to transfer to the airport of Puerto Maldonado (Padre Aldamiz).
